hey
so last time i talked about this guy i was really into but wasen't my boyfriend; i am sad to say that we agreed o meet up and talk but he never showed ;i dont know where he is and frankly i am not so sure i care anymore,
after that i was sitting home with a friend talking about our guy problems and i realized that of all my serious boyfriends ( so far 10 )none of them have really been it i think might actually have the crapiest dating history ever.
have all the guys worth it died? ethier they are way too sweet or they act like complete jerks.the only guy i ever fell for treats me like just a friend no matter how hard i tried.i am not asking for a movie romance but it kinda makes me sad to think that when i was small all i wanted when i grow up was to be cool, unique, nice, artistic, have lots of friends and a bf i loved; now years later i am all that even cool( and kinda weird too but whatever),all i seem to be missing its the love part.
anyway ,now that i finally have a camara again ( thanks mom) i can freely express my style the way i want to and take some great street style shots so now i was thinking why does nautical fashion mostly used on spring when it has great mid-season potencial? natucal fashion has a preppy edge that looks amazing with florals and vintage details .
this is one of my favorite stay home and chill looks that is nautical inspired :

the way oversized vintage sweater i wear as a dress i bought it at a vintage store here in tijuana and the leggings are h&m , the headband juicy couture and the shoes are a mexican brand named LOB.
you can also add a little sailor charm to a normal outfit with the right accessories like this uber-cute channel s/s 2010 bracelet:

i just remember this lovely d&G sweater lily allen wore on teen vouge last april :

some brands that carry this style very well are : tommy hilfiger, ralph lauren and j.crew you can also find adorable calassics at vintage stores and -why not ?- your parents closet i am thinking about asking my dad for a few of his j.crew belts and ties ( headband any one?).
this style is a tried and true classic that i hope we will keep seeing on the runway al least for the next few years :)!! anyway i have to leave now i think i need a walk maybe on my way home i will find a sailor to kiss ;)
au revoir
xoxo
